Grahams Dynamite

 

Grahams Dynamite secured the Overall Reserve Male, Junior Male and Junior Championships at the Royal Highland Show 2009. Dynamite who was the youngest entry in the line-up, also secured the Marks & Spencer Beef breeder Interbreed title.

This July 2008 born bull is sired by Samy, who is in the top 1% for muscle, an index of 130 and in the top 10% for growth. Out of Lisette, who has a breeding value of 35 and an index of 125.

Her progeny includes:

  • Grahams Poncho - sold £20000 at the I.L.C.
  • Grahams Ramrod - sold at Perth 9000gns to Willie Hunter
  • Grahams Samson - sold 55000gns to Doug Edgar also I.L.C. Champion
  • Grahams Violet - unbeaten in heifer at the Royals
  • Grahams Apache - sold 9000gns at Perth to Michael Philips, Ireland

Noix is the Dam of Grahams Ultra, that was sold at the I.L.C. sale in Carlisle for 22000gns and also Grahams Bianca a prolific prize winner in 2008.

Grahams Dublin

Grahams Dublin is a very powerful young bull, he is wide with exceptionally square plates and deep hind quarters. His Dam Burnbank Adele is a daughter of Grahams Tycoon.

 
  SALE RESULTS  
     
  The October 2008 born junior bull Grahams Dublin sold for 26,000gns on the day. Standing second in what was arguably the strongest show class of the day, Grahams Dublin is by the Ideal 19 son Millington Vascular and is out of the Grahams Tycoon sired Burnbank Adele. A powerful young bull with tremendous width, Dublin was purchased by Mr Allan Jenkinson.  

 

     
  Grahams Dynamite sold for 21,000gns sold to the noted commercial producer Peter Alexander, Mains of Mause, Blairgowrie, Perthshire. A July 2008 born bull, Grahams Dynamite came to Carlisle with a prodigious show summer behind him. This bull placed as Junior Champion and Overall Male Reserve at the Royal Highland where he also won the Beefbreeder Interbreed. He is by the multi-title winning Graham’s stock bull Samy and is out of the cow Lisette who herself was the mother of Grahams Samson the ILC Champion bull in 2004 and the then world record priced Limousin at 55,000gns. At the pre-sale show, Garhams Dynamite won his class before picking up the very strong Junior Section Championship. A Beef Value of LM+42 and a Muscle Depth of +8.8 provided this bull with a combination of performance figures, visual appeal and depth of pedigree.
